Stripey Stork collect the names and email addresses of our supporters, volunteers, staff and partners. We do not collect or store any personal data of the families we help.

The data is collected online (via our website or from the tablet in our office), and is stored securely in electronic format. Employee, volunteer, supporter and partner data is collected manually as a result of contact between those individuals and our staff, and is stored securely in electronic format.

Why is it being collected?
The data is collected to enable us to keep in touch, to keep you up to date with our latest news and campaigns.

How will it be used?
We will only contact you about our work and how you can support Stripey Stork by, email or text message, if you have agreed for us to contact you in this manner.

Who will it be shared with?
The data is stored in our email marketing software. We do not currently share your data with any other organisations, however in future we may use profiling and screening methods so that we can better understand our supporters, your preferences and needs to provide a better experience for you. This information can be appended to the information that you have provided which allows us to use our resources more effectively by better understanding the background of our supporters and making appropriate requests based on what may interest them.

Is the intended use likely to cause individuals to object or complain?
No, the aim of our communications are to inform of our latest news and campaigns.
