Run Reigate 2018

The multi-award-winning Run Reigate Half Marathon, 10k, brand new 5k and Kid’s Race will be back on Sunday 16th September 2018 in Reigate Priory Park. It really is such a fantastic day out and has something for everyone, amazing scenery and an unbeatable atmosphere. We had such a blast last year and feel privileged to be one of their charity partners again this year – making local memories together!

#RunStripeyRun Competition

Look out for us near the finish line on race day, where you’ll have your chance to win an amazing £250 in Amazon vouchers – now that’s a winning prize! Stand proud on our winner’s podium, strike a pose, take a photo and share on Twitter and/or Instagram, including the hashtag #RunStripeyRun, to be automatically entered into our prize draw.

Terms & Conditions – The competition will run from 7am on 16th September, ending 11:59pm on Monday 17th September 2018. The winner will then be chosen at random on Tuesday 18th September, and once contacted directly the result will be publicly announced. Only one entry per person per channel – ONLY Twitter and Instagram entries will be included. For your entry to be valid, you MUST be following us on social media – Twitter and/or Instagram, whichever is your chosen entry channel(s). A Match Made in Heaven

It’s all about the 5’s this year! In celebration of Stripey Stork and Run Reigate’s 5th birthday celebrations, we are super excited to announce the new 5k Race this year, where £5 from every entry will be donated to Stripey Stork. We are busy planning the fun and fantastic-ness of our joint birthday and you are definitely invited! Orange is the new black and we can’t wait to flood Priory Park with a sea of orange as our supporters get behind our great local cause and this popular community event.

How to Join #TeamStork (Kids)

We’re great believers in encouraging and supporting kindness and empathy at a young age, it sets them up for life! Children joining #TeamStork is a little different to the adult’s races. We’ve kept it nice and simple:

  • Register your child in the usual way via the Run Reigate website.
  • Once an account has been created, your child will need adding as a participant. In the field named Club/Company, enter Team Stork. Your data will be shared between Run Reigate and Stripey Stork: This is how we will know your little storklet is on the team! We would also appreciate a quick email to with the details of the school year of your child so we can track how many runners we have in each race.
  • We ask that they strive to raise a minimum of £25. Setting up an online Fundraising Page is easy using our step by step guide. If you prefer to fundraise as a family and adjust your target accordingly, this is also explained in the guide. If you decide to raise money offline, please email for a paper fundraising form.
  • As a thank you, we’ll be providing all children with a sporty Stripey Stork cap to wear on the day.

Read this inspiring blog on how the whole family can train together this summer, with local suggestions which are flat and shady, and ideas to distract the kids from all that hard work they are putting in!

Are you part of a community group who might love to be involved? Could the poster be displayed at your child’s school or nursery? If you’d like a printed copy of the poster or some flyers then please contact and we’d be happy to supply.
